ME baner

THANK YOU for helping to make the 2009 Men's Event a huge success!  All together, we raised nearly $650,000 in cash, pledges and in-kind support - another record-breaking year for the Men's Event.  The Men’s Event and Women's Dinner Party combined also broke a record, raising more than $1.2 million to support life-saving programs and services at Fenway Health.  That money will go a long way towards helping us meet the Kresge Challenge so we can secure $1.75 million in funding for our new 1340 Boylston Street home, which opened on March 30.

We’d also like to thank all of our Table Captains and Event Team, our corporate sponsors, Andrew Tobias, Kate Clinton, Congressman Barney Frank, Dean Hara and VJ Tom Yaz.  And we’d especially like to thank John Basile, David Brown and James A. Lopata, our Event Chairs, who were the driving force behind the success of this year’s Men's Event.

Our event photographer, Marilyn Humphries, has posted photos from the night online.  You can view a slideshow of the pictures on Flickr and can view a gallery and purchase photos from her account on Print Room.

The Men's Event is an important source of revenue that helps ensure that Fenway Health can help every person that walks through our doors, regardless of ability to pay.

Thank you again for your part in this year’s record-breaking success.  We look forward to seeing you all at our new 1340 Boylston Street home this spring and at the Men's Event next year!

Sincerely,

Dr. Stephen L. Boswell
