The Men’s Event is a black-tie fundraiser for Fenway Health that will bring together more than 1,300 gay, transgender and bisexual men and their friends and supporters for a night of dinner and dancing.
The Men's Event will take place on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at the Boston Marriott Copley Place. The evening gets underway at 6 p.m. with mingling and silent auction. The program and dinner start at 7 p.m., followed by dancing! If you have any questions, call us at 617.927.6350.
Tables Captains are the key to a successful Men’s Event! As a Table Captain, you pledge to fill a table with your friends and colleagues. Most people who attend The Men’s Event do so as a result of being personally asked by Table Captains such as yourself, who pave the way to success one conversation, phone call, email, text, or tweet at a time.
OUT CONGRESSMAN BARNEY FRANK TO RECEIVE 2012 CONGRESSMAN GERRY E. STUDDS AWARD AT THE MEN'S EVENT
Congressman Barney Frank will receive the Congressman Gerry E. Studds Award at Fenway Health’s 2012 Men’s Event. Frank represents the Fourth Congressional District of Massachusetts, is former chairman of the House Financial Services Committee and is considered by many to be the most prominent out gay politician in the United States. The Studds Award is given at The Men’s Event to honor individuals of integrity and selflessness who embody the spirit of service and provide positive leadership for the LGBT community. Read more.
