August 5, 2010 The Fenway Institute Receives $2.2 million 5-year Grant to Support HIV Prevention Programming for Gay and Bisexual Men
The United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have awarded The Fenway Institute a $2.2 million 5-year grant to support HIV prevention programming for gay and bisexual men. The award will allow The Fenway Institute and its partner on the project, the Multicultural AIDS Coalition (MAC), to dramatically enhance existing prevention services. Read more.

The Boards of Directors of Fenway Health and Justice Resource Institute (JRI)
have announced the joining of The Sidney Borum, Jr. Health Center and Fenway
Health effective July 1, 2010. The Sidney Borum, Jr. Health Center will operate
as part of Fenway Health and continue its mission of serving marginalized and
disenfranchised young people, including those who are LGBT (lesbian, gay,
bisexual and transgender); homeless or living on the streets; struggling with
substance use or abuse; sex workers; or living with HIV/AIDS. Read more. |
