Lesbians and bisexual women lag behind heterosexual women in receiving adequate cervical cancer screening, despite being equally at risk for cervical cancer
Lesbians and bisexual women are as likely as heterosexual women to develop cervical cancer, but are much less likely to be regularly screened for it, putting them at greater risk of the potentially deadly disease, according to a policy brief released today by The Fenway Institute. Read more

Jane Powers joins Fenway Health as new Director of Behavioral Health
Jane Powers, LICSW, MSW, has been named the new Director of Behavioral Health at Fenway Health. Powers starts at Fenway on Monday, March 18 and will oversee a staff of more than 50 therapists, psychologists, social workers, substance abuse and anti-LGBT violence experts.
